Summary

We are searching for a meticulous & motivated individual for the position of Specialist II, Rostering!


You will be part of the Rostering team and will be the key personnel in planning and formulation of Flight Crew Rosters.


Job Description

Responsibilities

Manage the complex Roster and Training functions of Flight Crew. Ensure an integrated approach among multiple planning teams and that the department’s standards and procedures feature in published rosters that are in line with CAAS regulations, business requirements and policies.

Administration

  • Assess crew leave application
  • Assess crew medical leave submission
  • Assist crew inquires
  • Assist crew on logbook verification

Roster Planning

  • Administer flight crew COPs (Crew Operating Patterns)
  • Collaborate with Rostering(CS Rostering) on alignments on COP patterns for synergy
  • Collaborate with Optimisation Team on roster optimization and issues
  • Collaborate with Commercial and Ground Ops for deadheading/positioning crew arrangement
  • Balancing and fair distribution of flight hours amongst FC Cohort
  • Planning of Standby Duties
  • Process D/P(Duty Pilot) duties and other requests by management

Systems Administration and Maintenance

  • Carry out day to day handling of crew, staff and office administrative matters.
  • Liaise with the crew regarding any queries on their rosters.
  • Ensure crew rosters are continuously updated to reflect situational changes.
  • Update and maintains the Crew Database in our systems
  • Brief newly joined crew on Rostering matters
  • Any other responsibilities required by RM

Flight Crew Uniform Requisition Coordinator

  • Receive and process uniform request from flight crew personnel , ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Address and resolve any uniform related issues or concerns raised by flight crew personnel
  • Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to address special request or uniform needs
  • Maintain inventory for material exchange and exit crew uniform matters


Requirements

  • A proven record and understanding of the ‘Day to Day’ business activities within the Crew Management, Operational Control and Commercial Departments of the airline
  • Advance user of Airline Rostering/Crewing system
  • Rostering Skill Sets
  • Ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines on several projects
  • Excellent communication skills and experience in working with people at all levels
  • Enjoys and embraces change 
  • Computer literate, with thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office and rostering systems
  • Previous experience in the airlines as a Crew Rosterer, Crew Controller, Operations and Cabin Services staff preferred
